Food Sovereignty
Deploying tools for local production that is resilient and respectful of biodiversity.
Lychen builds open-source applications and digital commons that give local stakeholders the means to observe, protect, and regenerate their ecosystems. No greenwashing: open code, shared data, and tools that are genuinely useful in the field.
« We believe in a symbiosis between people and the living world, made possible by ethical, open, and sustainable technology. »
To meet the challenges of our century, we structure our action around three complementary pillars.
Deploying tools for local production that is resilient and respectful of biodiversity.
Observing and quantifying biodiversity to better protect it through territorial data.
Making digital technology a lever for cooperation, solidarity, and sharing among local actors.
From observation to regeneration, we connect people, data, and tools within a single approach, built to last.
Measure and map a territory's biodiversity and resources through data.
Build open-source software, platforms, and databases, close to real needs on the ground.
Connect farmers, citizens, researchers, and local authorities around shared projects.
Deploy resilient practices that restore soils, landscapes, and the social fabric.
« To care for the living world is to care for ourselves. »
